CERTIFIED THROUGH THE
PRESTIGIOUS ROMANA’S PILATES IN 2005

Carrie earned her certification from the prestigious Romana’s Pilates International in 2005.  Romana’s Pilates is recognized as one of the most elite Classical Pilates certifications in the world.  Carrie is a continual student of Pilates and studies with as many of her elders as she can.  Her primary mentors include: Michael Levy, Trish Garland, Cynthia Shipley, and Cynthia Lochard.  She was lucky enough to also have learn from Romana Kryzanowska herself and enjoys taking Sari’s (Romana’s daughter) weekly class via Zoom.  

Carrie is a highly sought after instructor and teaches workshops for both teachers and Pilates enthusiasts around the world. When COVID-19 forced the world into lockdown, Carrie created her Mentorship. A program specifically designed to help teachers deepen their understanding of Classical Pilates post certification. Her Mentorship has become a global success and continues to thrive.

Carrie continues to gain international recognition through social media as she has dedicated her Instagram account to educating the masses on Classical Pilates and showing how accessible and fun it is. She can be found at @russopilates.  Carrie is honored to be an instructor on the esteemed website, Pilatesology. 

Whether Carrie is teaching a workshop abroad, a private client in her studio or filming for Pilatesology, she takes great joy in sharing her knowledge and passion for Pilates. Carrie  is continually humbled and grateful for so many wonderful opportunities.
